Ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, the Saudi embassy in Pakistan said in a statement on Friday that it will be giving Pakistan 100 tons of dates as a gift.
Following the advice of the esteemed leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to offer 100 tons of dates as a gesture of goodwill to its esteemed brethren in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Saudi embassy said in a statement.
The kind contribution is meant to be distributed to the Pakistani population during the holy month of Ramadan, the statement continued.
This excellent deed symbolizes the long-lasting friendship and fraternity between the two countries and reflects the giving and unity that are valued by both Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
