Airlines have been permitted to conduct an extra 30% flights for Pakistan in a reviewed strategy, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) stated just today.
This is surplus to the 20% amount of flights that were already permitted by the CAA to work in Pakistan, mentioned a notification from the CAA.
The organization stated that the further allowed flights will make sure that passengers can move abroad without any limitations, mentioning further that cargo flights of the other countries airlines will also be a part of the additional flights that will be allowed to carry flights to and from Pakistan
According to the guidelines given out previously by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) the amount of foreign flights coming to Pakistan were reduced to 20%, keeping in mind the dominant coronavirus circumstances in the country and the region.
The notification read; “in view of prevailing global and regional disease trends, Pakistan has decided to reduce inbound international travel from 5 May to 20th May. International flights to Pakistan will be reduced to 20% during this period.”
