Bollywood star Khushi Kapoor has openly discussed her cosmetic procedures, revealing that she has had a nose job and lip fillers.
In a recent interview with an Indian YouTuber, Khushi explained that she doesn’t consider these procedures to be a big deal and believes people should be honest about their enhancements.
When asked about her openness regarding cosmetic procedures, such as nanoblading, Khushi said, “I don’t think it’s such a big deal. The main issue is that people are scared that they will get hate if they come out and admit it.”
Khushi went on to explain that the term “plastic” is often used as an insult, but she doesn’t view it negatively. She added, “I don’t think it’s bad if someone gets work done. The issue is when people enhance themselves cosmetically and say, ‘I woke up like this and I am completely natural.’” She pointed out how this creates unrealistic beauty standards for younger girls, who might feel inadequate because they can’t match the image.
Breaking stereotypes
Khushi shared that there’s a lot of effort behind cosmetic enhancements, from facials to skincare routines, which most people don’t realize. By being honest, she believes, individuals can avoid setting unattainable standards for others. She said, “You might as well be honest because people are going to not like you for some or the other reason.”
