Recently US president Donald Trump has announced a “peace deal” between Bahrain and Israel. This makes Bahrain the second Arab country to have a peace settlement with their former rival in the last few weeks.
Bahrain has agreed to officially finalize this peace deal with Israel in White House at 15th September.
Trump took it to twitter and wrote, “Another ‘HISTORIC’ breakthrough today! Our two GREAT friends Israel and the Kingdom of Bahrain agree to a Peace Deal — the second Arab country to make peace with Israel in 30 days!”
Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Trump had talked earlier that day before Trump announced the peace deal.
Trump calls this a historic deal and said “When I took office the Middle East was in a state of absolute chaos,”
Other Muslim nations including Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are still firm that they will not recognize Israel until the issue of Palestine is resolved.
