Some students shared an alarming and shocking incident they encountered within the premises of University of Karachi and the social media has numerous concerns.
The story was shared by one of the students involved. According to him, two other female friends were coming back from a birthday party with him.
After they had dropped one friend at IBA hostel around 11pm, they were now headed towards Maskan. On their way, 10 men on 4 bikes came out of nowhere and started following them and eventually forced them to stop the car.
In the dark when there was hardly any light to see properly, these men started to bang the car windows asking the two friends to come out and kept screaming to get the girl out of the car.
The narrator said that he then suddenly pressed the accelerator to run as soon as possible and somehow managed to escape.
Upon reaching to a safe point, they informed the guards and IBA management. They said the purpose of sharing this story was to create awareness so that this doesn’t happen again with anyone.
