A remarkable education technology agreement has been signed between Pakistan’s largest education company and Pakistan’s leading technology firm namely Beaconhouse School system and Knowledge platform respectively.
Based on the agreement, Knowledge platform will be providing their education technology services and platform to around 200 schools.
According to the official statement, 100,000 students from Beaconhouse will be benefited through this agreement.
Official statements were given from both parties joining hands. The fonder of KP, Mahboob Mehmood said: We are thrilled and honoured to serve Beaconhouse through this landmark transaction. In terms of numbers of learners, this may represent the world’s largest education technology deal contracted to date in the private K-12 education sector.”
Whereas the official statement from executive director of Beaconhouse read: “This is the third stage of our 14-month relationship with Knowledge Platform. In September 2019, we invested in the company. In December 2019, Knowledge Platform launched a specialised version of its national curriculum content and platform for our Educators’ partner network. With the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the platform was extended to Beaconhouse schools offering the national curriculum. Now, in partnership, we will be offering educational content and technology across our entire school system, including at the CAIE O and A level programmes.”
He further said: “Working together, Beaconhouse and Knowledge Platform expect to innovate continuously to provide our students and teachers state-of-the-art 24×7 learning and teaching opportunities.”
The major goal of the agreement is to bring the students closer to an education system that is based on the innovative strategies that can benefit them at the maximum.
Knowledge platform also acknowledged Beaconhouse experience and efforts in provision of quality education to student in Pakistan and overseas for around 45 years now.
