The government employees have been protesting to make the federal government take notice of the matter of increasing salaries and pension and it seems like their protests have finally become effective.
Today an important meeting will be held headed by the pay and pension commission (PPC) at 5pm and various proposals will be reviewed related to the demands of government employees of increasing the pays and pensions.
The Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, will head the meeting. The Interior Minister, the Minister for Defence, the Finance Secretary, the Interior Secretary, and other related officials will also be there to attend the meeting.
The attendees will consider and go through the demands of the All Pakistan Secretariat Employees Coordination Council (APSECC), the All Pakistan Clerk Association (APCA), and other protesters.
The meeting will consider increasing the salaries of employees in the upcoming budget.
