Prime Minister Imran Khan stated today that the government has its full focus on making sure that the common people are provided with health and education facilities.
The prime minister addressed the masses at a public gathering in Sahiwal where he had reached for the inauguration welfare and development projects. During his speech, the prime minister applauded Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar for successfully conducting a large operation against “landgrabbers”.
The prime minister’s remarks seemed to be pointing at PML-N leaders Saiful Malook Khokhar and his relatives.
The government had carried out a huge operation against the PML-N leaders, claiming that they had taken over land unlawfully. The Khokhar brothers refused to accept the allegations of illegal behavior, accusing the government for taking political revenge on them.
He stated that the government had carried out this operation against “Lahore’s largest qabza group”, blaming a former prime minister of assisting them
According to the PM “The [former] prime minister and his government were protecting these landgrabbers,”
The prime minister talked against the Opposition, claiming that change had definitely been brought to Pakistan as it has never been done before that the, “big thieves” were being held accountable.
Regarding the health issues, PM said: “Every person in Sahiwal to get health insurance worth Rs750,000”
He further added “Research around the world shows that those households, that even are placed above the poverty line, suffer setbacks when they are afflicted with diseases. By December, Insha’Allah, every person in Punjab will have health insurance”
