The Gilgit-Baltistan government has planned to build the Ali Sadpara Mountaineering School in honor of Pakistan’s one of the best climbers whose death was confirmed by his family about a week ago.
GB government spokesperson Ali Taj stated that Ali Sadpara’s son Sajid will be given a job in the school that will be built up in his memory.
The cabinet, which permitted the creation of the school, decided to give away Muhammad Ali Sadpara’s name to the Government of Pakistan for the Pakistan’s highest civil award.
They have also decided to give Rs3 million to the departed climber’s widow.
A week ago, the intimate ones of Pakistani mountaineer Ali Sadpara confirmed his death and two more missing overseas climber’s death as well.
After more than a week’s search, it was announced by Ali Sadpara’s son, Sajid Sadpara, in Skardu. “I will keep my father’s mission alive and fulfil his dream,” he stated.
He also showed gratitude to Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and the daring pilots of the Askari Aviation for leading a comprehensive search and rescue maneuver in the middle of the severe weather conditions for his father.
