The Utility Stores Corporation have run short of the sugar stock that is present in Pakistan, as told by sources, and to make sure that the situation is under control, six submissions to obtain the product were issued

On the other hand, only 20,000 metric tons of sugar was purchased on the last tender, as stated by the sources. In addition to this they confirmed that it might be taking one to two weeks for local sugar to be accessible in stores.
