The National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) chief Asad Umar has stated today that the immunization campaign for individuals over the age 60 years old will initiate from Wednesday, March 10.
He added to it that the details for the procedure will be given out tomorrow.
Taking it to his twitter, the federal minister mentioned that the immunizations will be completed in opposite order by age. “The vaccination of people 60 years and older will be starting from Wednesday the 10th of March.”
“Vaccinations will be done in reverse order by age. This means the oldest person who has registered will be vaccinated first.
Full details will be issued tomorrow,” the minister clarified in a tweet.
Punjab Cases details
The quantity of everyday coronavirus cases recounted across Punjab on February 28 was 528 which have now increased upto 1,044 as of today.
Based on the info from Primary and Secondary Health Care spokesperson, 3,402,377 tests have been conducted in Punjab so far.
