PTI leader Faisal Javed Khan became the target of criticism as a result of admiring PM Imran Khan on International Women’s Day.
He took it to twitter and posted there. The PTI politician showered admiration on the prime minister, mentioning that he had given an appropriate honor to his mother by constructing a cancer hospital after her name.
His tweet read: “Who can pay the biggest tribute to a woman than Imran Khan who saw his mother dying from cancer & opened a hospital after her name paying a great tribute – SKMCH became the only cancer hospital in the World that provides free treatment to over 70% of patients. #HappyWomensDay,”
The tweet was not taken in a good way by Pakistani netizens, who gave critic remarks to the politician for posting a compliment for PM Imran Khan when he should have posted one instead for a woman; particularly when it is International Women’s Day.
One user wrote “There’s a time & place for brown nosing, this was not one of them. It’s #WomensDay and shud be about women!”
