Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Minister for Education, Shahram Khan Tarakai, has stated that the local government has assigned Rs. 130 billion for the elevation of excellence of education in the province.
He made these comments while speaking at an event in Kohat on Friday, and further mentioned that the government has brought together the latest technology in the education sector as per international criteria.
The minister mentioned that the local government is dedicated towards the growth of education in the remote parts of the province and that it has given out Rs. 3 billion for the availability of equipment at the schools and colleges.
Previously on Wednesday, Minister Tarakai had told the groups of the UNICEF and the UNDP directed by the Canadian High Commissioner, Wendy Gilmore, that the government is bringing smart school systems to endorse IT skills amongst the women so that they can get good jobs by being present at home.
Tarakai told that regular pays for female students have been started to lessen their dropout percentage, and that 70 percent of the new schools have been assigned for females.
