The government of Punjab had today announced its decision regarding the further closure of school and told about the names of cities where all public and private schools will continue to be closed till April 11, 2021.
A tweet was posted by Murad Raas just moments before the official press conference by Federal Educational Minister, Shafqat Mehmood to announce the decisions taken during the NCOC meeting regarding coronavirus situation in the country and the reopening of schools, which was earlier decided to be reopened on 28th March but now it has been delayed in some districts.
According to a tweet from the provincial education minister, all public and private schools in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Sargodha and Sheikhupura will continue to be closed till April 11.
“All public & private schools of Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Sargodha, Sheikhupura will remain closed till April 11th, 2021. The remaining districts will be open on the previous schedule,” his tweet mentioned.
