Prime Minister Imran Khan as of today has said no to the Sindh government’s suggestion to enforce a “complete lockdown”, all over Pakistan for at least a time period of half a month.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah before this stated that the government should enforce a “complete lockdown” all over Pakistan for two weeks to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

Responding to his remarks, the prime minister stated that Pakistan cannot meet the expense of a complete lockdown, further stating that the action would badly influence daily income earners across the country.

He stated, at the current moment, the government will enforce smart lockdowns across the country, further stating that that it was vital for the implementation of even more cautious measures during the third wave of the coronavirus.
