Prime Minister Imran Khan will make the necessary rearrangements in the federal cabinet in the coming days, as told by sources.

Information minister Shibli Faraz had previously told that the prime minister’s plans to rearrange the cabinet yet once more, stating that PM Imran Khan was “bringing in a new team” to work on the country’s problems.

Sources stated that the prime minister will bring the modifications in the federal cabinet in the coming days, further mentioning that he had done meetings with his advisers on the problem.

Sources told that the prime minister will make significant modifications to the cabinet on a “big scale”, further stating that ministers who did not execute up to the anticipations will be taken away from their portfolios.

It is probable that portfolios of Shibli Faraz, Syed Fakhar Imam, Omar Ayub and Ghulam Sarwar Khan will be reformed.

The prime minister has been recommended, according to the sources, to sign up a federal minister and a state minister in the information ministry whereas Shibli Faraz will be assigned with the Ministry of Power.

Sources mentioned that Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has been told once more to take forward the information ministry. Chaudhry has told that he needs time to think whether he wishes to take up the proposal or not.
