People desiring to go from Lahore to Skardu or from Skardu to Lahore will no longer be limited to travel extensive road journeys or connecting flights any longer as the Pakistan International Airlines has just kicked-started direct flight processes from the capital of Punjab to the beautiful valley.
Based on the info from reports, a PIA representative clarified that the first direct flight of the state mover took off from Lahore on Wednesday, April 7, and landed in Skardu on that day with 153 travellers aboard.
The spokeswoman further mentioned that each week, two flights would be functioned from Lahore to Skardu.
Previous month, PIA had initiated flights to and from Saidu Sharif Airport in Swat after a break of 17 years.
