Faisal Edhi wants access to Palestinian Visas to help the victims

Leading the largest philanthropic organization, Faisal Edhi has said today that he has reached the Palestinian delegation in Pakistan for a visa to go to the country and provide aid to its people that are becoming victim of bombing by the Israeli forces.

“We want to take part in the relief work in Palestine via the Edhi Foundation. Five people, including my son Saad Edhi [and myself], will be going to Palestine,” Faisal said.

The son of famous humanitarian Abdul Sattar Edhi said that a a small number of members of Edhi foundation talked with the Palestinian ambassador in Islamabad and were told that there is a extreme requirement of medical treatments in the devastated country.

The head of the Edhi Foundation said that his institute will purchase food and medication from Egypt, further mentioning that the foundation has set on the side a budget of “Rs25-30 million” for the cause.

“We do not want any support from the government as we will do everything with the help of people,” responded Edhi to a question. He said that the five people going to the country will be have communication with the Pakistani embassy in Cairo.
