The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced to put off the service of its northern flight operations for now at least in for a time period of seven days.
According to the reports, the national airlines has put on holds flights coming in and going to the region as a result of harsh weather conditions, which are likely to stay for a week. This has been decided following the latest update given by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on the forecast for the coming week, stimulating the PIA to reconsider t its flight calendar based on customary protocol, said a PIA representative.
Meanwhile, the national airlines have suspended the inauguration of its Air Safari Package. Even though all arrangements have been made regarding the matter, the first flight from Islamabad to Skardu has been re-scheduled to 19th June, 2021, rather than Saturday, 12th June.
Following decisions and statements regarding the Ali Safari Service will be given out according to the approvals of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the Met Office.
