Previous Pakistan skipper, Salman Butt, is considering the option to peruse his career as a match referee following retirement from all set-ups of cricket.. As of right now, he is included in a Level-1 umpiring course for umpires and match authorities.
Previous fast bowler, Abdur Rauf, and off-spinner, Bilal Asif, are also included in the list of 49 players involved in the umpiring course. A whole of 350 people are at this time part of the course prepared by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The Level-1 training is being delivered online by PCB’s Exclusive and top-notch match referees. The prospectus of the drill consist of average umpiring rules and directions and guidelines of cricket.
