Khatamun Nabiyeen (PBUH) University to be opened in Lahore Soon

    The Punjabi government has made the decision to find Khatamun Nabiyeen (PBUH) University in the provincial capital. The Auqaf Department of the Quran Institute in Mian Mir will establish the institution.

    The Standing Committee on Legislative Business (SCCLB), chaired by Raja Basharat, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Environment Protection, and Cooperatives, approved the Khatamun Nabiyeen (PBUH) University, Bill.

    The Committee’s Chairman, Raja Basharat, directed the Law Department to provide additional comments on the proposal.

    According to him, the PTI chairman Imran Khan’s desire for the Riasat-e-Madinah and the instructions of Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi have led to numerous initiatives by the Punjab government in support of the Khatm-e-Nabuwat faith.

    He declared that Khatamun Nabiyeen University is another step toward ‘Riast-e-Madinah’.

    At the meeting, strategies for preventing errors in the Qur’an’s Punjabi publication were also discussed. It was further discussed that The Qur’an Board should be given the power to handle printing issues, and the law should be changed as necessary. 

    The meeting also included the ministers of law, law secretary, and higher education, Ahmed Raza Sarwar, Khurram Shahzad Virk, and Akhtar Javed.
