To make it easier for passengers to travel between Pakistan and China, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has immediately reduced the cost of flights between Islamabad and Beijing. PIA currently operates a Sunday passenger flight on this route once per week.
The Islamabad-Beijing flight will now cost 30% less, according to the national airline. Travelers going to China for employment, business, education, or family visits will benefit from this change. According to reports, both Chinese and Pakistani citizens will benefit greatly from the lower price.
It’s important to remember that Pakistan and China will jointly host “The Year of Tourism” in 2023 to promote cross-cultural and interpersonal relationships. Earlier this year, PIA increased the discount rate on airfare for students visiting China by a whopping 27 percent. The national flag carrier also offered a 20 percent discount on domestic flights during Eid-ul-Fitr for travelers in the economy and executive economy classes.
Additionally, according to Kiran Imran Dar, Parliamentary Secretary for Railways, PIA made over Rs. 60 million in profit during the first quarter of 2023 (January through March). This demonstrates PIA’s commitment to enhancing its offerings and giving customers affordable travel options.
