Following a report of an exam paper being stolen from a women’s exam room only 15 minutes before the scheduled start time, the Malakand Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) acted quickly.
The superintendent and every member of the exam staff were relieved of their duties.
Muhammad Nasim Khan, the Controller of Examinations, sent a special monitoring team to the Kumbar Maidan area to the women’s exam center right away to look into the situation. His arrival provided further proof that the exam paper was leaked.
Khan responded by directing the termination of all exam staff and the hiring of fresh personnel for the center. Additionally, he gave the go-ahead for a committee to be established to extensively investigate the leak. The objective is to locate the culprits and hold them accountable.
Khan claimed that just a few minutes prior to the intermediate examinations supposed to start, a public complaint regarding the leak of objective questions had been made. On WhatsApp groups, the questions that were leaked were being discussed.
He personally made a surprise trip to the exam room in response, accompanied by a group of female team members. The visit verified that the paper was released fifteen minutes before the scheduled start time.
Khan made it clear that those found guilty in accordance with the inquiry report would face severe disciplinary measures.
