The Sindh Institute of Child Health recently welcomed a 200-bed children’s hospital, which was officially opened by Foreign Affairs Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari. According to him, the public will greatly benefit from Sindh’s new hospitals. In order to ensure that everyone in the province has free access to advanced medical care, it is planned to build health facilities in each of the province’s districts.

The minister emphasised teamwork by mentioning that the children’s hospital had been a joint venture with help from South Korea. Initiatives to lower child mortality rates are actively being pursued by the provincial government.

The PM’s advisor on foreign investment, Syed Feroz Shah, the federal minister for water resources, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, and the provincial ministers Syed Nasir Shah and Azra Peechuho all attended the inauguration ceremony.

Minister Bhutto-Zardari was given a tour of the Children’s Hospital’s OLD Block, Emergency Room, and Diagnostic Lab,  thanks to cooperation with South Korea. Additionally, he gave the hospital administration two ambulances specifically designated for the care of children.
