India is making a fool of itself by changing the World Cup schedule once more.

Due to security concerns raised by the local police, the highly anticipated ICC World Cup 2023 in India may experience yet another change in the schedule.

According to media reports, the games between Pakistan and Sri Lanka on October 10 and New Zealand and the Netherlands on October 9 at Uppal may be postponed.

Due to police worries about security for back-to-back matches, the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has asked the BCCI to change the schedule of two games back-to-back.

The Pakistan-Sri Lanka game was originally scheduled for October 12, but it was moved to give Pakistan more time between matches after their match against India on October 14.

Due to a conflict with the beginning of Navratri, a festival with widespread participation in Gujarat, the eagerly anticipated match between Pakistan and India was also postponed.

According to reports, the HCA requested a change after learning that they were not consulted when nine World Cup games were moved earlier this month.

It is still unclear whether the BCCI will grant the HCA’s request for modifications to the already altered schedule, with ticket sales set to start on August 25.
