Babar Azam, the captain of the Pakistan cricket team, played a game-winning innings against Nepal in the opening match of the 2023 Asia Cup at the Multan Cricket Stadium.

The cricketer from Lahore surpassed Virat Kohli’s previous record for the highest individual score by a captain in Asia Cup history with this historic performance.
