The Swiss Government and the Higher Education Commission have unveiled the “Excellence Scholarship for Pakistani Students” for the upcoming academic year 2024–2025 in an effort to promote international academic cooperation and research partnerships.
The Swiss Confederation awards Excellence Scholarships every year, inviting academics and researchers from more than 180 nations to pursue studies and research in Switzerland.
These fellowships are open to postgraduate researchers in a variety of fields, and the eligibility requirement is at least a master’s degree. Everyone interested in doctoral or postdoctoral research or advanced study in Switzerland is welcome to apply to the programme.
The primary goal of the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships is to provide educational opportunities for aspiring foreign researchers with master’s or doctoral degrees, as well as for foreign artists with a bachelor’s degree. The Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS) is in charge of selecting the recipients of scholarships.
