On August 14, 2023, Bayfikr, a UK-based fintech company, will release its distinctive charity & bill payment mobile application for all overseas Pakistanis.
To make it simple for Pakistani expats to pay their bills in Pakistan, Bayfikr was created. It intends to rapidly establish itself as a major player in this value-added remittance market by expanding operations globally.
By allowing overseas Pakistanis to send instant and direct bill payments to Pakistan along with zakat and charity features, Bayfikr differs from other money transfer apps and gives them much-needed control.
Therefore, users can check and pay their bills in Pakistan directly from their international cards rather than sending only cash. The fintech currently has more than 300 Pakistani billers and companies on board, and it is working to add many more in the upcoming weeks.
The management is also negotiating with well-known real estate projects to join so that Pakistanis living abroad can adhere to payment schedules.
The founders of Bayfikr are Pakistani expats who realised that the current remittance services were not adequately meeting the special requirements of the Pakistani diaspora living abroad.
Pakistanis living abroad send USD 31 billion to their country every year, so a special app was needed to meet their needs.
According to CEO Rascim Khattak, 70% of the money sent to help families back home is used for rent, bill payments, school and medical expenses, and mortgage installments. None of the players who were already in the game were meeting these needs. So, in order to support our people, we decided to establish Bayfikr.
He added that Bayfikr, which was created specifically for the Pakistani community, is now accessible to all Pakistanis living anywhere in the world.
Bayfikr has added reputable Pakistani charities in addition to billers so that Pakistanis living abroad can assist those in need back home.
It was revealed that a portion of Bayfikr’s profits go to various Pakistan-based charities as part of the company’s mission to give back to the community.
The app can be downloaded by users in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the USA, Canada, Europe, and the UK by visiting www.bayfikr.net/sm.aspx.
