At the Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, Khawar Maneka, the ex-husband of Bushra Bibi, the former first lady of Pakistan, was taken into custody.
According to media reports, federal investigators held Mr. Manika before handing him off to the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE).
When FIA officials seized the ex-husband of Imran Khan’s current wife after a routine check, he reportedly had plans to travel to Dubai.
After filing a complaint against him and learning that his name was listed on the Exit Control List (ECL), ACE officers apprehended Khawar Manika.
Manika is a spiritual follower of Baba Farid Ganj Shakkar, a mystic from the 13th century who was originally from Pakpattan. In the past, he held a top position in the department of customs.
