China’s most recent lunar trip, Chang’e 6, will carry payloads from other nations, including Pakistan, in an effort to foster more international collaboration.
The European Space Agency, France, Italy, and Pakistan will all deploy payloads to the moon in cooperation with China. CubeSat, a Pakistani satellite, will be sent into the moon’s orbit.
France will send equipment for conducting testing for radioactive gas. Chang’e 6 will deliver to the moon the Valle Brett Radar System from Italy and the Negative Ion Detector from the European Space Agency.
The mission’s objective is to gather samples from diverse moon regions in order to learn more about the moon’s antiquity. This mission will investigate data from the moon’s dark side, in contrast to earlier missions that collected samples from the moon’s near-surface.
China intends to launch the Chang’e 7 robotic mission to the south pole of the moon when the Chang’e 6 mission is finished. This mission’s goal will be to look for ice-related clues. It will also be investigating the atmosphere and weather of the area.
