During the early hours of Tuesday, residents of Karachi, the largest city in the nation, felt tiny tremors when a light earthquake hit the city.

A minor earthquake that struck the port city was reported by the authorities.

With a depth of 15 km, the earthquake’s epicentre was reported to be in Quaidabad and measured 3.1 on the Richter scale.

Earthquake in Karachi The earthquakes were reported by residents of the Malir District, Quaidabad, Shah Latif Town, Sherpao Colony, Landhi, Muzaffarabad Colony, Muslimabad Colony, and Steel Town.

Some people also left their residences in fear, while there was no loss of lives or property.
