The Ghauri Weapon System training launch was undertaken by the Pakistani Army with the intention of evaluating the operational and technical preparedness of the Army Strategic Forces Command.
According to a news statement from the army’s ISPR, the commander of Army Strategic Force Command (ASFC), senior officials from the strategic forces, and scientists and engineers from the strategic organization all saw the launch.
The ASFC commander was appreciative of the Army Strategic Forces’ high level of training and operational preparedness, which was demonstrated by their proficient employment of weapon systems in the field and achievement of operational and technical objectives, according to the report.
The ASFC commander thanked the engineers and scientists for their work in enhancing Pakistan’s strategic capability.
The President, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and the Services Chiefs commended the participating troops, scientists, and engineers on the successful execution of the training launch.
The Ababeel Weapon System had recently undergone a successful test in Pakistan when the news broke.
