In an ICC World Cup 2023 match, Pakistan will play South Africa, an undefeated team, today at MA Chidambaram Stadium.

Pakistan, who have suffered three straight losses, will be keen to shock the world when they take on South Africa in the tournament’s sixth game.

After defeating Sri Lanka and the Netherlands in Hyderabad to begin the World Cup, the Green Shirts have now suffered three straight losses. Afghanistan stunned Pakistan by eight wickets in their most recent encounter.

Hasan Ali, a fast bowler for the Green Shirts, will not play because of a fever, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed on Thursday as the team gets ready for a big game against South Africa.

“Hasan Ali, Pakistan’s fast bowler, is unavailable for Pakistan’s match against South Africa due to illness,” the board stated in a brief statement.

Despite having a fever yesterday night, the PCB said that Hasan is well and that the pacer will have time off to fully recuperate before the remaining games.

Teams: Saudiah Shakeel, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Usama Mir, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Wasim Jr., Haris Rauf, Abdullah Shafique, Imam-ul-Haq/Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam (c), Mohammad Rizwan (wk),

Rassie van der Dussen, Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klaasen, David Miller, Marco Jansen, Gerald Coetzee, Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada, and Tabraiz Shamsi are all South African players. Quinton de Kock is the wicketkeeper.
