Pakistan has threatened Saudi Arabia that OIC might lose the only nuclear power of Islamic world if it keeps on ignoring the need to summon a council of foreign ministers meeting regarding Kashmir.
Foreign Minister of Pakistan Shah Mahmood Qureshi has given the warning of parting ways with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) if it failed to conduct the meeting.
He criticized OIC’s silence about matters, including Palestine, Kashmir, and the Babri mosque.
While talking on ARY news he mentioned “For one year we have been requesting the OIC to call a council of foreign ministers meeting on Palestine and Kashmir issues where Muslims are dealing with severe atrocities , meanwhile India demolished the 300 year old Babri mosque to build Ram Temple but the OIC is completely silent. But why?”
He further added that “Today, I am telling the OIC to arrange the meeting of foreign ministers. If they can not do it, then i will be compelled to ask the our prime minister Imran Khan to call a meeting of Islamic countries that are ready to stand with us on the Kashmir issue to support the oppressed Kashmiri Muslims,”
“Today we all Pakistanis, who are always ready to sacrifice our lives for the protection of Mecca and Madina, are looking forward to Saudi to play a leading role on the Kashmir issue. If they will not help us, then i will ask Prime Minister Imran Khan to go ahead with or without Saudi Arabia,” Shah Mahmood Qureshi warned.
