Michael Vaughan, the former captain of England, stated that he would want to see Pakistan and India play in the ICC World Cup 2023 semifinals.
The 32nd match saw South Africa easily defeat New Zealand by 190 runs, which has somewhat increased Pakistan’s prospects of making it to the World Cup semi-finals. They still have a difficult road ahead of them to qualify, though.
Pakistan has to win its remaining games in order to have a chance in the semi-finals. Ideally, Pakistan should win their next game against New Zealand and pray that the Kiwis lose against Sri Lanka.
