The Pakistan Cricket Team’s acting chief selector, Tauseef Ahmed, has been named.
A noteworthy change within the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is the temporary appointment of former cricket player Touseef Ahmed as Chief Selector. As the leader of the selection committee, he takes on a very important role for the first time as they choose the team for the upcoming tour to Australia.
Notable members of the recently established selection committee include Tauseef Ahmed and Wajahatullah Wasti. Senior selectors have been given specialized responsibilities. Wasim Haider and Wajahatullah Wasti are members of the National Men’s Selection Committee. Meanwhile, Aamer Nazir, Javed Hayat, Mahmood Hamid, Naveed Latif, Salman Ahmed, and Sana Baloch make up the Junior Selection Committee.
The reorganization of the selection committee on October 6th revealed a new and innovative method for choosing the squad. Following Inzamam-ul-Haq’s resignation from the position during the 2023 ODI World Cup, a new committee was established.
