Imad Wasim, a former all-rounder from Pakistan, will likely have an effect in the Big Bash League (BBL) Season 13 when he joins the Melbourne Stars with Haris Rauf and Usama Mir.
Imad, a former player for the Melbourne Renegades, will represent his new side, the Stars, in the tournament’s later rounds following the Christmas break while wearing the green jersey.
Blair Crouch, general manager of the Melbourne Stars, highlighted Imad’s batting ability and left-arm spin while expressing optimism about his involvement.
“Considering that Liam was available for the first three games, we thought Imad was a great addition to our team. Blair Crouch said, “His bowling abilities and capacity to strengthen our batting lineup are assets.”
He also expected a sizable contingent of Pakistani supporters at the MCG, where Imad will be joining former national team members Haris Rauf and Usama Mir.
Shortly after declaring his retirement from international cricket and his intention to concentrate only on league cricket going forward, Imad joined the BBL.
Notable players on the Melbourne Stars’ BBL 13 roster include Joe Burns, Glenn Maxwell, Scott Boland, Haris Rauf, and the newly acquired Imad Wasim.
Imad is now playing in the Abu Dhabi T10 League 8 with the Deccan Gladiators, where he is showing off his skills.
In the Pakistan Super League (PSL), it is noteworthy that Hasan Ali joined Karachi Kings and Imad Wasim moved to Islamabad United as part of a big transaction.
Shortly after learning of his PSL transfer, Imad Wasim went to X to thank the Karachi Kings’ management and to express his delight for the new challenges that lie ahead at Islamabad United.
