At Multan Cricket Stadium today (Friday), the confident Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi will square off in the ninth game of Pakistan Super League season nine (PSL 9).
Zalmi is at the bottom of the points table after losing both of their games, while the Sultans under Muhammad Rizwan hope to extend their winning run after winning all three of their previous games.
A day earlier, the Quetta Gladiators produced a masterful bowling display to defeat Islamabad United in a low-scoring match. The Gladiators have now triumphed in three straight games. Islamabad United was restricted to a small score by Abrar Ahmed and Muhammad Wasim Jr., which was chased in 18.2 overs with three wickets in hand. Player of the Match winner Rilee Rossouw calmly led the chase and won the trophy.
