By adding a new, luxurious lounge dining car to the well-known Tezgam Express, Pakistan Railways is improving the quality of travel for its patrons. From May 20, passengers on the Tezgam Express will be able to enjoy a wide variety of culinary choices while lounging in the recently constructed eating areas.

Ample menu selection and cosy seating

Passengers are guaranteed a great culinary experience with the premium lounge dining car’s large menu that has over 40 items, including soups, burgers, pizzas, and traditional Karahi dishes. The dining car provides plenty of seats for patrons to enjoy their meals while travelling through beautiful scenery, with room for 35 diners at a time.

Extension of the Dining Car Programme

The Tezgam Express’s upscale lounge eating car was added after the Bahauddin Zakaria Express’s successful installation of a comparable dining area. Pakistan Railways has broadened the scope of its dining car programme, building on the favourable response that passengers on the Zakaria Express received. New eating facilities will be introduced on the Khyber Mail and Allama Iqbal Express in the upcoming weeks.

Amounts Reached and Improved Facilities for Passengers

Apart from improving the food options on board, Pakistan Railways has surpassed its earning objective by an astounding Rs 7 billion, among other noteworthy financial accomplishments. Aamir Baloch, the CEO of Railways, claims that the railway’s revenue has surpassed Rs70 billion, indicating both a strong performance and rising passenger usage. Additionally, Baloch announced the building of executive restrooms at important railway stations, including Rawalpindi, Multan, and Lahore, as part of continuous efforts to improve passenger services. Beginning on June 1, passengers may anticipate that all three stations will have executive restrooms available, providing increased comfort and convenience for rail travel.
