Maryam Nawaz, the chief minister of Punjab, has promised to offer Elite Force in the state all the resources available.
Wearing the black police uniform for the occasion, she delivered these comments as the top guest at the province’s Elite Force passing-out procession.
Usman Anwar, the Punjab IGP, and leaders of the PML-N escorted her to the Lahore event. The Punjab inspector general and members of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s cabinet also saw the march, which she reviewed while wearing the elite police outfit.
She spoke at the event afterwards, saying how happy she was to be at the parade.
In addition to congratulating the selected applicants, the chief minister remarked that their parents should also be commended.
Maryam remarked to the cadets, “I am one of you. Wearing your uniform, I have arrived at the passing-out procession. This is a sign of national duty, not merely a uniform that only a select few are privileged to don.
She also honoured the martyr police officers who gave their lives to defend the nation.
During the ceremony, Maryam revealed that the top performers would receive monetary rewards.
She stressed in her speech to the female cadets that their parents had put their faith in them and had committed them to national duty.
According to Maryam Nawaz, her uncle, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and her father, Nawaz Sharif, founded the Elite Police Force.
When Maryam Nawaz showed up to a passing-out ceremony for female traffic helpers and constables late last month wearing a Punjabi police uniform, she created quite a commotion.
