Islamabad (Monitoring Desk) The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) has ordered the Luxembourg company Acts Holdings S. A.R. Approved the sale of Actis Holdings Sarl. According to the news website ‘ProPakistani’, this company investing in the solar power market of Pakistan has been bought by the American firm ‘General Atlantic Partners L.P. (GA).
 By Competition Commission of Pakistan ‘General Atlantic Partners LP’ Acts Holdings S. A.R. 100% acquisition of L.P. has been approved. General Atlantic Partners L.P. was established in 1980 and is headquartered in New York, USA. It is a growth equity firm that provides capital and strategic support to global growth companies. 
According to the report, the acquisition of this company by General Atlantic Partners L.P. will pave the way for more investments and advanced technologies in the local market and will create a competitive atmosphere in the local renewable energy sector.
