Saudi Arabia on Monday announced the discovery of 7 new oil and natural gas reserves in Al Sharqiya region and Rubal Al Khali.
“Saudi Aramco has discovered two unconventional oil fields, the Arab Light Oil Reserve and two natural gas reserves,” said Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman.
According to the Saudi official news agency, 2 unconventional oil fields and 1 reservoir have been discovered in the Sharqiya region of Saudi Arabia, while 2 natural gas fields and 2 reserves have been discovered in Rubal Al-Khali.
The Saudi energy minister thanked God for the discovery of large oil and gas reserves. He congratulated the Saudi leadership for this success.
It should be remembered that the Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said yesterday that ‘Al-Jafura Gas Field Project will provide about 2 million cubic feet of gas per day.’ ‘Gas production in Saudi Arabia will record an increase of 63% by 2030. Production will increase from 13.5 billion cubic feet per day to 21.3 billion cubic feet.
The Saudi Minister of Energy said that the total production of the gas field and the expansion of the gas pipe network will be a part of the Saudi GDP of about 20 billion dollars annually
