PTI’s missing coordinator was produced in the anti-terrorism court and remanded for 7 days.
Missing coordinator of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Ahmad Waqas Janjua was produced in the Anti-Terrorism Court, where Judge Tahir Abbas Supra heard the case. Ahmed Waqas Janjua was presented in the ATC in the case registered in Police Station CTD. During the hearing, the investigating officer told the court that explosive materials were recovered from Ahmed Waqas Janjua at the time of his arrest. Physical remand of the accused should be given for further investigation and recovery of the relationship with banned organizations. A 15-day physical remand of Ahmed Waqas Janjua was requested on behalf of the investigator.
The Anti-Terrorism Court granted the 7-day physical remand of PTI coordinator Ahmed Waqas Janjua and ordered him to appear before the court on July 29.
Earlier, a case of disappearance of PTI’s International Media Coordinator Ahmed Janjua was registered in Hamak police station, a copy of which has been submitted to the Islamabad High Court by the officials of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
