Hyundai Nishat has taken a bold step to revive its sales figures in Pakistan’s competitive automotive market by introducing substantial price cuts on its two flagship SUV models, the Tucson and Santa Fe.
The new discounts, which range from Rs2 lac to Rs8 lac, are expected to provide significant savings for buyers, with the promotions running until December 31, 2024.
The announcement, which took effect on November 8, 2024, comes as part of Hyundai’s strategy to remain competitive in a market that is still grappling with the aftermath of a prolonged economic downturn.
According to the company, these reductions are designed to stimulate sales and clear out existing stock ahead of upcoming models, particularly as the brand seeks to recapture market share lost to other automakers.
Discount details and new pricing
The price reductions apply across all variants of the Tucson and Santa Fe models. The Tucson, one of Hyundai’s best-selling SUVs, will see a flat Rs. 2 lac reduction across all four variants.
Meanwhile, the Santa Fe Hybrid, which is a high-end offering in Hyundai’s SUV lineup, will benefit from larger cuts—up to Rs. 8 lac on its top-tier variant.

The price cuts vary depending on the model and variant, with the Santa Fe Hybrid’s AWD Signature variant experiencing the largest reduction of Rs. 8 lac, bringing its price down to Rs13.9 million from Rs14.7 million.
Meanwhile, the FWD Smart variant of the Santa Fe Hybrid also sees a reduction of Rs. 5 lac, lowering its price to Rs12.49 million.
For the Tucson, Hyundai has introduced a more modest price reduction of Rs. 2 lac on all four variants, with prices ranging from Rs. 7.1 million to Rs. 8.78 million, depending on the specific variant.
