Usman Dar, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), who had been AWOL for days, made an appearance on a private news station, where he blamed Imran Khan for the May 9 incident and even declared his intention to leave politics.

Dar’s announcement and discoveries were nothing new because attacks on military installations led to the defection of hundreds of party leaders and some PTI supporters, who then blamed Imran Khan.

Usman Dar’s mother made an appearance in a video and engaged Khawaja Asif, the head of the PML-N, in a political debate following Usman Dar’s explosive interview on a private news station.

Usman Dar’s mother said in a video statement that PML-N leader Khawaja Asif finally got what he wanted from his son by forcing him to resign from politics. She then made a political challenge to Asif and underlined her support for the PTI chairman, who had been detained for two months.

Usman Dar charged party chief Imran, who is currently in prison, with planning attacks that altered the political landscape of the nation in his first interview following his disappearance.

The PTI chairman Imran Khan’s PTI stalwart, a young politician from Sialkot, reemerged on a private TV channel to reveal the party’s “nefarious designs” against the military in response to the military “losing power through no-trust motion.”

Before being kidnapped from Karachi’s Malir Cantt 20 days ago, Dar had spent months hiding out to escape being arrested in a number of instances. Attacks on May 9 were intended to “remove Army chief General Syed Asim Munir,” according to him.

After Imran Khan was taken into prison by paramilitary forces from the Islamabad High Court, he was questioned about the attackers of the May 9 attacks and stated that the incident did not occur in a single day. In the case of his detention, the 49-year-old asserted that Imran Khan personally gave the order to attack military institutions.
