For the SAFF U16 Championship, the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has successfully obtained a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Interior.

Shaza Fatima Khawaja, the former Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs, made the long-awaited announcement about this development today.

The Men in Green, who were initially scheduled to leave for Bhutan on August 29, are reportedly expected to board the earliest flight today.

The PFF had started the NOC application procedure earlier this month, and on August 16 the National Council responded to some issues brought up by the PSB.

According to a report from yesterday, the football federation was having trouble getting the required NOC for the SAFF U16 Championship in Bhutan.

It was also mentioned that the football federation has been preparing its U16 team for the championship in Bhutan since June through trials and a training camp.

According to the published schedule, Pakistan will face Bhutan on September 1 at the Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu.
