Awami National Party (ANP) leader Zahid Khan decided on Saturday to jump ship.
According to details, Khan has geared up for joining the ruling party, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). In this regard, Khan is likely to make the official announcement tomorrow.
“Tomorrow, the workers’ convention will be held at my residence, where I will officially announce exit from the ANP,” he said.
Khan stated: “I will be accompanied by Amir Muqam on the occasion of my announcement pertaining to joining the PML-N.”
It is pertinent to note that Khan had been away from the ANP’s political activities for a few months.
