The official theme song for the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup was announced on Wednesday by the International Cricket Council (ICC). That is slated to begin on October 5 in India. Start of the 2023 World Cup
At the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India, the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup will begin on October 5, with the defending champions England taking on New Zealand.
The Pakistani team will compete in a total of 11 World Cup games. Four of these games, including two warm-up contests and two group-stage contests, will take place in Hyderabad.
The Men in Green will start their World Cup journey on September 27 when they travel from Dubai to Hyderabad. They will face the Netherlands on October 6 in their opening game in Hyderabad.
The format for the Cricket World Cup will be round-robin. A total of 45 league matches will be played, as all participating teams will face off against one another.
To the semifinals will go the top four teams from the league round. The semi-finals are set for November 15 in Mumbai and November 16 in Kolkata. It’s important to note that the semifinals and final will both have set reserve days in case there are any weather-related cancellations.
