Naseem Shah was hurt while playing for Pakistan against India in the Super 4s match that is currently taking place at the Premadasa Stadium in Sri Lanka.
The 20-year-old pacer was struck on the wrist while attempting to stop a ball during the final over of his spell, forcing him to leave the pitch right away.
It should be noted that the severity of his injury is still unknown, and additional evaluations are awaited in the wake of initial medical reports.
This incident comes after a report from earlier today that said Haris Rauf, another important player for Pakistan, also suffered an injury during the same match. It has been determined that Haris Rauf, 29, is not healthy enough to continue the rain-delayed match against India.
