The “Benly e,” the company’s first electric motorcycle, has been introduced by Atlas Honda, one of Pakistan’s largest motorcycle manufacturers.
The company does not, however, specify when the bike will go on sale in Pakistan.
According to the company, the unveiling was held on Tuesday during an event held at Atlas Honda’s Sheikhupura Factory to commemorate the company’s 60 years of existence in Pakistan.
At this event, Noriaki Abe, Chief Officer of Motorcycle and Power Products at Atlas Honda, declared that new products will be introduced based on market feedback and that Honda BENLY e will be made available for test marketing in an effort to give society and consumers the best that Honda has to offer.
“Many people in Pakistan now consider Honda products to be an essential element of their everyday lives,” said Abe. Since 1963, the joint venture between Atlas Group and Honda Motor Company has set the standard for the manufacturing of bikes and car parts.
Speaking at the event, Shinji Aoyama, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Honda Motor Company, said that “the mobility industry is going through a rapid transformation” and that “Honda Motor is well positioned for the future.”
Saqib H. Shirazi, President and CEO of Atlas Honda, declared that the firm has upped its product lineup and attained up to 95% localization.
It is important to note that Honda Atlas Limited’s net profit for the first quarter of its fiscal year 2023–2024 climbed by 152%.
